其实做过事业的人尤其事业比较成功的多数都有这个体会,只有敢想才有敢干,只有 dared to take risks, success is more likely. Without taking the risk, how can you succeed? For example, looking at my own business experience, I mainly engage in commercial real estate development, which involves building large shopping centers and city complexes in China. When I first started this business, many people advised me not to pursue it due to the high risks involved. However, I believed that residential property was not a sustainable industry for long-term growth. Therefore, I decided to invest in commercial real estate with faith and perseverance.
Throughout my journey as an entrepreneur, I have encountered numerous challenges and failures. Despite these setbacks, I never gave up on my vision and continued to push forward with courage and determination. My unwavering faith in myself has been instrumental in overcoming obstacles and achieving success.
In addition to courage, my restless nature has also contributed significantly to my entrepreneurial spirit. From the outset of my business venture when we were operating on a shoestring budget of 50 million yuan registered capital compared with our ambitious goal of reaching one billion yuan within three years.
My friends were skeptical about our ability to achieve such a feat but we managed it successfully by working tirelessly towards our objectives.
Vastly different from what people may think or assume about successful entrepreneurs like myself who are often perceived as being intelligent or highly educated individuals; however reality paints a different picture where intelligence does play a role but emotional intelligence (EQ) is even more critical for success.
Emotional Intelligence (EI) refers simply put as the ability of an individual’s self-awareness which includes recognizing their own emotions & those around them – empathy- while maintaining control over one's reactions through effective communication skills thus creating harmonious relationships among colleagues & partners alike making us more relatable hence increasing trust amongst peers leading ultimately contributing towards greater productivity efficiency teamwork collaboration creativity innovation problem-solving adaptability resilience etcetera
The key factors behind EI include:
1 - Empathy: The ability understand others' perspectives.
2 - Communication: To express oneself effectively.
3 - Self-Awareness: Recognizing personal strengths/weaknesses emotions.
4 - Social Skills: Interacting appropriately with others.
5 - Motivation: Driving oneself towards goals/objectives without losing focus on team members well-being too!
These qualities allow individuals like me — Wang Jianlin — who ventured into uncharted territories such as developing massive shopping centers & city complexes — manage complex teams handle difficult situations make tough decisions lead groups navigate challenging times maintain strong relationships keep employees engaged motivate staff foster positive work environment encourage open dialogue listen actively provide feedback support develop solutions collaborate build consensus create harmony promote growth inspire loyalty instill confidence empower others strengthen bonds nurture talent grow together! This all boils down emotionally intelligent leaders tend excel their roles fostering thriving environments that yield remarkable results!
