哥们儿，你不要以为我天天跟你讲话像个土匪，其实我骨子里知道在场面上怎么混。在金山，我夹在两个人中间，一个叫求伯君，一个叫雷军。但我活得很好，我跟他们俩都合得来。我有老求那一面，他的玩儿和生活会跟我分享。他不跟我谈工作，偶尔我跟他谈起公司最近怎么样，谈完了，他说，哦，挺好。其实他没听懂，但他觉得王峰的语气很坚定，肯定都是对的。但是到了雷军那儿，他就很认真跟你讨论工作，我也很认真。我在金山的工作方式，每天平均跟雷军开会聊到晚上十点。这两个人中间，我不能说我起了调和作用，但是确实关系都挺好。我一半是海水，一半是火焰，就像是国共第一次合作时候的周恩来。

I left Gold Mountain, and my heart was heavy. I had been there for ten years, and it was time to move on. I knew that I would be leaving behind a lot of people who were important to me, but I also knew that I had to follow my own path.

I started my career as a teacher in a small town in China. It was a tough job, but it taught me the value of hard work and discipline. After six years, I decided to leave teaching and pursue my dream of becoming an entrepreneur.

My journey began with Gold Mountain (a company where he worked), but it wasn't until he met two other individuals - one called "Old Seeker" and another called "Lei Jun" - that his life really took off. Old Seeker represented the free-spirited side of Wang Feng, while Lei Jun symbolized the more serious and focused approach to business.

Wang Feng's time at Gold Mountain was marked by long hours spent discussing strategy with Lei Jun into the late night hours. He learned from both men - from Old Seeker's carefree nature and from Lei Jun's dedication to their shared vision for Gold Mountain's future growth.

But despite his success at Gold Mountain, Wang Feng felt stifled by the company culture. He wanted more control over his own destiny than what was offered him there. So when an opportunity arose for him to start his own venture capital firm (IDG Capital), he jumped at it without hesitation.

This marked the beginning of Wang Feng's second act as an entrepreneur - one filled with risk-taking ventures such as Blue Harbor Interactive (now known as Blue Harbour Group) which focuses on technology investments worldwide; Shenzhen-listed Zhong An Online P&C Insurance Co., Ltd., which has become one among China’s largest insurance companies; Didi Chuxing（滴滴出行），China’s leading ride-hailing platform；and many others.

He is now widely recognized not only within China but also globally for being a visionary leader who can identify potential winners early on before they reach mainstream success.

His ability lies in identifying trends & opportunities well ahead-of-the-curve coupled with strong execution skills.

Throughout this journey so far through various challenges faced during different phases including securing funding from investors like IDG Capital & other reputable firms; overcoming regulatory hurdles specific country or region-specific regulations

building high-performing teams across different countries/cultures

balancing short-term needs versus long-term strategies

the core theme remains constant: always stay true-to-self while continuously learning & adapting new ideas/technologies/perspectives.
