李一男：跳跃生涯，激情永燃

电信业传奇人物李一男宣布将于近期辞去无限讯奇CEO职务。知情人士向《第一财经日报》透露，李辞职并非缘于移动反腐案，而是未达董事会要求。

但李的个人影响力似乎不减。本报获悉，已有VC向其发出约请。不过李在自己的微博里写道：“希望能够在未来踏踏实实，安安静静地做好产品和企业。”并强调，“未来将继续专注于互联网、移动互联网和其他科技方面的工作”。

影响力不减，除了李曾在中国最先进的高科技公司担任过核心技术高管外，其所处领域仍代表着未来趋势。

李闻达于华为。1970年出生的他曾被视为“少年天才”。早在1992年他便在华为实习，1993年研究生毕业后加入华为，27岁就成为华为副总裁，1998年升任华为常务副总裁，主管研发。当时李被外界认为是任正非、孙亚芳之后的3号人物，并被视为任正非的“人”。

但少年得志的李一男在华为期间争议多多。传说中，李曾因不同意见“训斥高层”、因小事“辱骂下属”。一位在此期间曾与 李共事的前同事吴可 为(化名)透露，当时 华为从基层到高管性格大多如此，大员们大多是一毕业就进来、高管年轻气盛，“老板以下很多高管都是这种习惯，对下面肯定也会效仿”。

“Lee is a very smart, technically gifted person with strong management capabilities and high standards. He will certainly achieve something.” said Wu.

The young and ambitious Lee experienced his first major setback in Huawei. Around the year 2000, his position changed several times, including serving as the President of Huawei Electric and the Director of the American Research Institute.

At that time, Ren Zhengfei advocated for "internal entrepreneurship". Lee was dissatisfied and eventually left after much deliberation. His departure was accepted by Ren.

A group of people from Huawei followed Lee out, leading to the founding of Port Network Communication Company. This company seemed to have an inherent desire to thwart Huawei's success, becoming its most formidable competitor. Clearly it showcased Lee's talent.

However, Ren Zhengfei was cunning. In 2006, Huawei emulated Cisco by acquiring Port Network Communication Company. Li returned to Huawei as Chief Scientist for Telecommunications Science and Vice President in 2007 before becoming Deputy General Manager of Terminal Division later that year.

Li became disheartened once again at this point (according to Liu Si Jia). At a grassroots engineer level, Li was regarded as a "godly figure" with many admirers.

But after his second return to Huawei (his so-called "second palace coup"), Li rarely appeared within the company again (source: www.lz13.cn).

Two years later, Li indeed chose to leave again - this time going to Baidu where he became CTO but only stayed for less than a year before leaving once more during which period he gained maturity according to some sources in communications industry media:

"One day an error occurred within Baidu resulting from employee negligence; all employees received an email from CEO Lee One Male taking full responsibility on himself using sincere language making an impression on everyone."

It seems at that time Lee had shed off his youthful ambitions' influence over him; one colleague remembered him fondly during their shared time at Baidu - Son Meng Fei:

"Lee still exuded charm despite growing older."

Yet even though he excelled professionally yet treated staff kindly amidst such circumstances,

he ultimately left Baidu too! On January 1st in 2010 he took up CEO role at Unimited Communications Group; allegedly founder Lei Yan Hong tried hard not persuade him otherwise!

But colleagues who knew him well saw potential issues arising due lack coordination between Unlimited Communications Group & China Mobile thus might find it difficult stay there long term amid corruption investigations happening around them;

Sure enough! After about half-year tenure there he parted ways with Unlimited Communications Group amidst ongoing anti-corruption campaign related news coverage;

Now having gone through experiences like those mentioned above - having been associated with companies like both powerful tech giants like Alibaba & struggling startups alike -

this former business icon turned independent entrepreneur continues inspiring awe among masses even now while seeking personal dreams amidst Internet Age!
