I don't like complicated administrative work, so I hope there is less administrative work for me, and I can talk from morning till night. And the salary should be as high as possible.

I didn't find it funny because I was serious.

虽然I always couldn't find a job that suited me but I never gave up, until my pocket only had 27 dollars left.

同学见I am in such a low state, jokingly said to me: "You shouldn't eat at McDonald's every day. It will run out of money quickly." So I bought a big bag of mung beans and cooked a big pot of mung bean soup, eating it for breakfast, lunch and dinner for three or four days.

Lecturing until my mouth bleeds

I applied to 300 companies and each boss thought I was just joking. Only one CEO of a securities company took me seriously. He asked if everything I said was true? If you want to find someone who can talk from early morning till late at night? Find someone with almost no administrative tasks? Someone with high pay?

He hugged me tightly when he heard what he wanted. The next day he told me that he would hire me on the spot because everyone else said they worked very hard or did great in school but couldn’t hit the point. He liked what his conditions were about talking all day long.

He recorded how many calls I made every day and required that if there were fewer than 500 calls before midnight, you could go home early. When we finished the last call around dawn, people often answered grudgingly thinking it might be an emergency call or something similar (and some time later they actually came).

My daily routine involved making hundreds of phone calls without any rest while dealing with customers who might not even understand English properly due to language barriers during those late-night conversations (which sometimes got quite heated). Sometimes customers got upset when their sleep was disturbed by these constant phone calls from different times zones across America - which led them into bad mood after being woken up multiple times throughout their sleepless nights trying to get some rest while still having meetings scheduled during this chaotic period too!
